The standard ACCPAS Self-Study format is provided in the ACCPAS Procedures for Accreditation, Part II — The ACCPAS Self-Study Document. However, schools may wish to develop Self-Study procedures and documents based on specific needs and agendas. The ACCPAS Executive Director or a staff designee will work with the school to develop a Self-Study that meets its needs and satisfies the needs of the ACCPAS. The final plan and outline for a custom Self-Study must be approved by the Executive Director of ACCPAS.
Planning for custom Self-Studies should begin at least two years before the on-site visit date. Normally, one or more on-site staff consultations will be required.
