Delay in the Release of ACCPAS Procedures Documents
In October of 2022, ACCPAS announced its intention to conduct a comprehensive review of its suite of accreditation Procedures documents, which were last published in May 2007.
This review includes the following ACCPAS publications: Procedures for Accreditation Part I: The ACCPAS Accreditation Process: An Overview for Institutions; Procedures for Accreditation Part II: The ACCPAS Self-Study Document; and Procedures for Accreditation Part III: Instructions for Visiting Evaluators: The ACCPAS Visit and Visitors’ Report.
Consultation from a broad range of individuals was requested; constructive and thoughtful feedback has been received.
Although the review has been completed, given the breadth of this project coupled with ongoing work to design and implement software which will enable the collection of accreditation materials electronically, the release date for the ACCPAS procedures documents has been extended to September 2024. We ask please that accredited and potential ACCPAS accredited institutions continue to use the May 2007 edition of the documents, which may be found on the ACCPAS website and which now are in force through the 2024-2025 academic year.
